Farewell my Friend ...

"What I gave to you
Is yours by right everlasting.
What others receive
Are the daily driblets the heart yields
To tender solicitude
O my princely,peerless friend,
What I gave to you was your own gift -
Fuller your acceptance, the deeper my debt,
My friend, farewell."

Here it is, Tagore reciting another beautiful story of relationships - a simple, pure and deep relationship.
And the most hearty gift for the dearest departing friend - The final farewell poem...

From Sufi Mysticism..

"What is wrong, O God, with this earth, that people want to rise up to the heavens? Why can people not find you on earth, so they must seek you in the heavens? Look at them staring upwards. You are right before their eyes; yet their eyes cannot see. You are in front of them; yet they are blind.."

'And it was at that age... Poetry arrived
in search of me. I dont know, I dont know where
it came from, winter or a river.
I dont know how or when,
no they were not voices, they were not
words,nor silence,
but from a street i was summoned,
from the branches of night,
abruptly from the others,
among violent fires
or returning alone,
there i was without a face
and it touched me.'
- from Neruda's 'Poetry'.

It came the same way for me, from unknown, from known, and i dont know from where else...
